TECHNICAL & BUSINESS FAQ: SPECIALTY & FANCY PAPER COLLECTION
September 07, 2026

Q1: What is the differences between surface-coated colored paper and your premium through-dyed specialty paper?

A: Standard colored papers are often converted via roll-coating or printing on a white base sheet. When they undergo heavy automated processing, they inevitably break at the score lines, creating an unsightly flaw known as "white-core cracking." Our premium collection features 100% pulp-dyed (through-dyed / vat-dyed) engineering. The raw pulp fibers are fully saturated with premium organic pigments inside the vat before paper web formation. As a result, the deep color is solid from the surface to the core, ensuring all cut edges, V-grooves, and folded corners look perfectly seamless.

Q2: What printing methods are recommended for your heavily textured and leather-effect papers?

A: Due to the deep micro-embossing on our fancy papers, traditional offset printing with standard oxidative-drying inks may experience drying delays or loss of detail in the embossed valleys. We highly recommend UV Offset Printing, High-Definition Screen Printing (Silkscreen), or Digital Printing with UV Curable Inks. For text and minimalist brand marks, high-temperature Hot Foil Stamping (Foil Blocking) and deep Blind Debossing yield the sharpest tactile contrast.
